What you will see

The Valencia Tourist Card is the official tourist card of Visit València. The 7-day version does not include transport or the tapa with drink that come with the 24, 48 and 72-hour cards: it is an entry and discount card. In return, it adds free entry to the Cathedral and its museum and to the IVAM.

With it you enter free to 14 municipal museums and monuments:

• Lonja de la Seda (the old silk exchange), Torres de Serranos and Torres de Quart.
• Palacio Museo de Cervelló, Almoina, Museo de la Ciudad and Museo de Historia.
• Museo Fallero, Museo del Arroz, Cárcel de San Vicente Mártir and Museo de Ciencias Naturales.
• Museos Benlliure, Blasco Ibáñez and Concha Piquer.

It also gives discounts of up to 50 % at more than 130 tourist services, shops and restaurants, including Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, Oceanogràfic and Bioparc.

How much it costs

The adult card costs €15; buying it on the official website brings it down to €13.50. Children have a reduced price.

Opening hours

It is valid for 7 days from activation, and activates itself the first time you use it at any museum or service. After that, the opening hours of each venue apply.

How to get it

The 7-day card is not collected at kiosks: it is collected at the tourism offices at the airport (arrivals terminal), at plaza del Ayuntamiento, 1, at calle de la Paz, 48, and at Joaquín Sorolla station (calle San Vicente Mártir, 171). The one on the seafront promenade only opens in season.

Worth it if…

…you are going to spend several days in València, you travel on foot or with your own transport pass and plan to see the Cathedral, the IVAM and several municipal museums. If you need transport included, the 24, 48 or 72-hour versions are better.
