What you will see
The house museum occupies the reconstructed chalet of Vicente Blasco Ibáñez on Malvarrosa beach, and holds memories, personal objects and literary works of the writer. It has three floors and a large garden.
- Ground floor (Room I): events hall for conferences, round tables, screenings and temporary exhibitions.
- First floor (Room II): the museum proper, with portraits and sculptures of Blasco Ibáñez, his wife María Blasco, his children and other close relatives.
- Second floor (Room III): research centre with documents on his life, manuscripts and numerous editions of his works, many of them first editions and translations into almost every language.
How much it costs
Individual admission is €2. You pay €1 if you come in a group of more than 10 people, are a student in formal education, over 65 or a pensioner, member of a large or single-parent family, or have a Carnet Jove. Entry is free on Sundays and public holidays, on 18 May, and any day if you are under 16, unemployed, have a recognised disability (and your companion if essential) or hold a Valencia Card. Tickets are sold at the municipal online box office.

Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00–14:00 and 15:00–19:00; Sundays and public holidays, 10:00–14:00. Closed Mondays, 1 and 6 January, 1 May and 25 December.

It is at Isabel de Villena, 159, 46011 València. Buses 19, 31, 32, 92, 93, 98 and N1 stop nearby.
