What you will see

The Palau Ducal dels Borja was the residence of the Borja family as dukes of Gandia and holds more than 500 years of history. Saint Francis Borja, the fourth duke of Gandia, was born here and left a very visible mark on the building. The tour passes through the courtyard of arms and rooms such as the Galería Dorada (Golden Gallery).

Please note that restoration work is currently underway: the Salón de Coronas (Hall of Crowns), the neo-Gothic chapel and the oratory cannot be visited until the second quarter of 2027.

The self-guided visit is done with an audioguide or QR code in seven languages: Spanish, Valencian, English, French, German, Italian and Russian. Guided tours are also available in Spanish and Valencian, and night-time and theatrical visits take place from time to time.

Cost

  • Audioguide visit: €8.00; €7.00 for pensioners, unemployed persons, large families, students and groups of more than 10; €4.00 for children aged 6 to 17 and people with disabilities (and their companion). Children under 6 do not pay.
  • Guided visit: same prices.
  • With a Renfe train ticket from the same day there is a 10% discount, and with a Carnet Jove, 15%.
  • Combined tickets are available with the monastery of San Jerónimo de Cotalba (€12.00) and with the Colegiata (€10.00).

  • It opens in the mornings every day, including Sundays; in the afternoon, Monday to Saturday only.
